Made by Parents, for Sofiia and Aleksandr

How it started

We are parents living in Dubai. When Sofiia started her first foods, we wanted tableware that was safe, beautiful and practical — a plate that stays on the tray, a bowl that is easy to scoop from, cutlery soft on gums. We could not find a set we trusted completely, so we designed our own.

When Aleksandr was born, the same set went back to the high chair. The kids grew up with these plates, bowls and cups and still use them today. That is the simplest test we know — and it is how we check every piece.

What we believe

Premium means safe first. Our sets are made from food-grade platinum silicone and natural beech wood, free from BPA, PVC, phthalates and lead, and tested by an independent laboratory to US, Canadian and EU requirements for children's feeding items.

Premium also means every day. We make tableware parents are proud to put on the table and happy to use at every meal — not something kept for special occasions.

And premium means the whole family. SofiAl is run by parents, named after our children, and shared with families in the UAE and the USA through Amazon and our Instagram, @sofialdxb.
