Is silicone safe for babies to eat from?
Our sets are made from food-grade platinum silicone, free from BPA, PVC, phthalates and lead, and tested by an independent laboratory to CPSIA (USA), Canadian lead and phthalate limits and EN 14350 / EN 14372 (EU).
Is the SofiAl set BPA-free and non-toxic?
Yes — free from BPA, PVC, phthalates and lead.
What safety standards is the set tested to?

Can silicone baby plates go in the microwave?

Can I put the plate and bowl in the freezer?
Yes — freeze purée portions in the bowl or under the plate lid.
How do I get the suction plate to stick?
Use a clean, smooth, flat surface — a high-chair tray, table, wood or plastic — and press the base down flat.
Age and use
What age is the feeding set for?
From 6 months, when your baby starts solid foods, through toddler meals — the US listing says 6–18 months, and the bib and cup keep growing with your child.
When can my baby start solid foods?
Health authorities such as the AAP, the NHS and the WHO say around 6 months, when your baby can sit up with good head control. Talk to your pediatrician — and see our baby-led weaning guide.
Why do baby plates have sections?
The SofiAl plate has 3 sections, so different foods stay apart and your baby can explore each one — handy for baby-led weaning.
When should I introduce a straw cup?
The 3-in-1 cup comes with a drinking lid with straw, a snack lid, and can be used as an open cup — so it follows your baby from the first sips. Your pediatrician can advise on timing.
